Artist – Analyst – Collector – MorganAnderson Consulting, now MorganAnderson ArtSolutions.
Born and raised in the Hudson Valley, Eric graduated from SUNY Ulster and SUNY New Paltz where he majored in art and psychology. After college he moved on to administration and finance, joining the Ulster County Department of Social Services. There he honed his research and people skills as head of the Resource Auditing unit. He entered the business world at Prudential Financial as a financial advisor and SEC Registered Representative. He then joined MorganAnderson Consulting, marketing communications management consultants, as a senior consultant where he refined his research and analytic skills and became right hand to Arthur Anderson working on assignments for clients including IBM, VW, GM, Aspen Dental, and Shell.
Always with a keen interest in art, as well as living near the Woodstock Art Colony, Eric helped Arthur Anderson build, archive, secure, and manage Anderson’s collection of the Historic Woodstock Art Colony. He also facilitated art acquisition, planning and implementing museum exhibitions, leading the manages the Julio de Diego Archive, the Spanish-American surrealist artist, facilitating loans to museums, and inventorying and photographing the Anderson collection. Eric played a critical role in helping place the Anderson collection with New York State Museum.
He is an avid art lover, collector, curator, and right hand to Artur Anderson at MorganAnderson ArtSolutions.
